The SJB remains committed to a successful nation and has no intention of seeing its collapse, said its deputy national organizer S.M. Marikkar.
Being the party with the second highest votes, it will fully support the task of uplifting the country, while safeguarding its political and ideological identity at the same time, he said.
Marikkar was speaking at an event at his Kolonnawa electorate chaired by party leader Sajith Premadasa on 28 September.
