Ex-MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage says all those who had supported Ranil Wickremesinghe at the presidential polls would unite in an extensive alliance to contest the upcoming presidential polls.
This alliance will be led by Wickremesinghe himself although he would not contest or enter parliament on the national list, said Aluthgamage.
The former MP also said that regimes formed with the people having a lot of expectations always found it difficult to govern the country.
That is what had happened to Gotabaya Rajapaksa, added Aluthgamage.
