Former president of Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) Rizly Illyas is planning to go to courts to seek Rs. 500 million in compensation from the sports minister.
Illyas accuses the minister of having brought discredit to his name built upon for more than 30 years and harmed the local game by dissolving the SLR administration and appointing a committee to run its affairs.
He said he would also proceed with a case already filed against the ministry of sports.
