National Freedom Front (NFF) leader Wimal Weerawansa attended the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing as a Chinese government invitee.
The two-day event from 17 October saw heads of states, political leaders and heads of organizations participating to mark the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.
It was organized by the Chinese Communist Party.
Weerawansa attended the main session and several side events.
