An academic has warned that Sri Lanka could face a big issue due to the loss of its young population in the near future to brain drain.
Professor emeritus Indralal de Silva of Colombo University has told ‘Silumina’ that between 60 and 70 per cent of those in the 15-29 age group are likely to look for greener pastures.
