The SLPP will give more opportunities to youths and those aged below 50 years to contest the upcoming general election, said its national organizer Namal Rajapaksa.
Priority would be given to former members of local government bodies, he said.
Youths will be prioritized too, when making appointments to the vacant district and electoral organizers positions of the party, he added.
