Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna presidential candidate, Namal Rajapaksa, stated that unlike other candidates, he cannot make political promises regarding constitutional amendments.

However, he assures that he is committed to creating a promising future for the youth community.

Namal Rajapaksa, made an appeal to the youth of Sri Lanka, urging them to join him in building a brighter future for the country.

"I can only promise what I know I can deliver. If something is impossible, I will say so," Rajapaksa stated.

He emphasized the importance of honesty and realistic promises in his campaign.

Rajapaksa called on the youth, whom he described as "new thinkers" and the future of the nation, to work together for the betterment of Sri Lanka.

He encouraged them to seek job opportunities abroad, become businessmen and entrepreneurs, and embrace the world of technology.

"I invite you to join us and help make this election a victory. I want to see new leaders emerge, not just those who travel from Colombo to Batticaloa, but leaders who are born and raised in Batticaloa. I am committed to supporting that," he added.
