A remembrance has taken place for 24 Tamil civilians who were killed in an Air Force bombing at Manthuvil in Mullaitivu in 1999.
On 15 September, relatives lit lamps and garlanded the photos of the victims of the attack.
Exactly 25 years ago, 10 died on the spot and 14 others succumbed to injuries after the AF dropped two bombs.
It also left more than 40 injured.
