A tusker whose left front leg got badly injured by a locally-made gun now walks around four kms a day, said wildlife officials.
The officials have been treating the Agbo for three months.
Presently, it inhabits Wannammaduwa reservoir at Thirappane and eats what it finds in addition to being given food by the officials, said forest officer Bimal Eranga Herath.
