Sri Lankan Kalinga Kumara won gold in the men’s 400 m event at the 11th Kinami Michitaka Memorial Athletics Meet in Japan.
He had a timing of 45.92 sec.
Nadisha Ramanayake finished fourth in the women’s 400 m, with a time of 54.02 sec.
Tharushi Karunaratne could not take part in the women’s 800 m owing to illness.
