A top ICC official has warned an opposition politician that Sri Lanka is likely to face an international ban if Sri Lanka Cricket continues to undergo political interference, according to several websites.
In an article, gossipkade.com reports the warning came when the politician consulted the ICC official for details on SLC for an adjournment debate in parliament tomorrow (24).
The ICC official has spoken about speculation that an interim committee is to be appointed, in which event, a ban will be unavoidable.
If that happens, Sri Lanka will not be able to take part in the world cup, said the website article.
