Entrepreneur Dhammika Perera says it is meaningless to build the economy without ensuring employment for 3.6 million youths.
Building the economy means giving jobs to those youths in the 18 to 28 age category, he said, adding that his DP Education Campus initiative has laid the foundation for that.
Perera was speaking at the certification distribution for western province students of DP Education IT campus in Homagama today (11).
More than 12,000 attended the event, including clergy, students and their parents.
He also said that an education system that does not get updated is meaningless.
DP Education Campus is filling that void, he added.
