Women do come forward in society increasingly under the guidance of the NPP, said the party’s national executive member Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
Speaking to the media yesterday (08), the MP said there has been a considerable political organizing and awakening amongst them.
As a result, they are coming forward to take up leadership, she said.
Amarasuriya said she was confident of the creation of a government on 21 September, under which women get the opportunity to lead from the front.
