President Ranil Wickremesinghe should be given the credit for having revived the bankrupt economy within a very short period after taking over reigns of the country fearlessly, said president of the UNP young professionals organization Sumudu Kekulandala.
Therefore, the incumbent should be elected president at the upcoming election, Kekulandala told the media in Colombo yesterday (06).
Having accepted the country’s challenge, the president is the only leader who is capable of overcoming the unfulfilled ones, he said.
National organizer of the organization Kosala G. Munasinghe said the country was now on the right path under the president’s leadership.
No experimenting should take place now, since he is the only leader who can strengthen the country’s future and the economy, he said.
