The final rites of Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thera will take place with state patronage at the grounds near Gangarama Temple at Hunupitiya.
His cremation is due to take place on 05 August at 3.00 pm.
The remains are open for the public to pay their last respects.
Also known as Podi Hamuduruwo of Gangaramaya, he was 81 at the time of passing.
