People at the grassroots level stand with president Ranil Wickremesinghe, said state minister Kanaka Herath.
He was speaking at a meeting at the Presidential Secretariat, where 92 MPs extended their support to the president.
Herath added that the SLPP meetings in the Kegalle and Rambukkana electorates unanimously decided to support Wickremesinghe.
