The ‘Jana Aragala’ alliance has decided to field its executive committee member and lawyer Nuwan Bopage as a presidential candidate.
The announcement came at the Colombo National Library auditorium today (29).
Bopage, born in Kolonnawa, has been giving leadership to a number of people’s struggles, including against the Meetotamulla garbage dump and the Chunnakam power plant.
