Local election monitor Campaign for Free and Fair election (CAFFE) has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against the National People's Power over its campaign meeting with nurses.
The event in question took place yesterday (28) at the National Youth Services Council auditorium in Maharagama, where the nurses were in attendance in their uniforms.
Executive director of CAFFE Manas Makeen charged it was unethical and illegal to use a public property for party politics.
It is an offence committed as per the establishment code and election laws, he said.
