NAtional Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Namal Rajapaksa has asked the party’s electoral organizers and rural leadership to support the provision of relief for the flood-affected people.
In a message on X, Rajapaksa said the party is donating Rs. one million to flood relief programme in Biyagama.
Also, the SLPP has cancelled its electoral convention at Biyagama scheduled for yesterday afternoon (02) due to weather conditions, prioritizing the safety of party members, he added.
