Public security minister Tiran Alles has refused to give into propaganda by hypocrites over the social media against what he does for the country.
There are even politicians who cannot stand his efforts, Alles told a meeting at Monarch Imperial at Thalawathugoda yesterday (17).
In attendance there were over 1,000 representing 602 police stations from 45 police divisions.
The meeting was held with the approval of president Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Speaking further, Alles said he has made up his mind to continue with his ‘Yukthiya’ operation against the underworld and drugs despite all threats and criticisms.
He said he would not go to react to them, which would be a waste of time only.
