The SJB affiliate body of university teachers will hold its first annual convention at Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo on 07 April, starting at 4.00 pm.
A parallel policy dialogue forum will take place as well at the meeting of ‘Samagi Buddhi Mandapaya’ with a membership of 1,131 representing 17 universities.
They have extended their support to SJB leader Sajith Premadasa, said the office of the leader of the opposition.
Its president is Prof. Ananda Jayawickrama and the secretary is Dr. S. Baskaran, both of Peradeniya University.
Ranjan Bandara serves as the national coordinator.
