A women’s right group has said that the only path left for them is the path of struggle.
Time has come for women to come out of their homes for their freedom from oppression, national organizer of Free Women, Hemamali Abeyratne said.
She was addressing their first convention at Sri Lanka Foundation in Colombo yesterday (05).
Abeyratne said the existing capitalist socioeconomic conditions cannot solve the woes of women and that the answer lies in socialism’s equality and comradeship.
