Japanese language learning for youths hoping to pursue higher studies or secure employment in that country begins in Kandy on 19 May.
Central province governor Lalith U. Gamage will preside at the programme’s launch, according to dinamina.lk.
A team of teachers from Chiba International, a leading Japanese language school, is in the island to conduct the programme.
It will begin at the district secretariat at Yatinuwara Street at 9.30 am.
