Directors of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) have replaced their chairman Rohan Fernando with Reyaz Mihular, who was recently appointed a director by the president.
At a meeting this morning (20), directors adopted a proposal for his appointment as the chairman as per provisions in the SLT act.
Mihular is also the local head of KPMG.
Fernando’s continued opposition to the sale of the state-owned stake of SLT is said to be the reason for his removal.
