A girl, aged 21, has died after being given two vaccines for a stomach ailment at Peradeniya Hospital.
According to her mother, the girl had cried in pain while being given the vaccines, vomited and died moments later.
A judicial medical examination is due to take place, as the hospital and the police are making investigations.
The Health Ministry said previously that two anesthetic drugs had been taken out of use after causing several deaths.
A consignment of a different brand will arrive tomorrow (13), its additional secretary Dr. Saman Ratnayake said.
