Neil Hapuhinna has been transferred from his position as secretary to the ministry of public administration, home affairs, provincial councils and local government.
He is now posted at the Presidential Secretariat.
Additional secretary K.D.N. Ranjith Asoka has been appointed the ministry secretary in an acting capacity.
