Senior actress Damitha Abeyratne has been arrested by a special police team following a protest at Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla yesterday (07).
She is presently being held at the Modera police.
Abeyratne is reportedly accused of forced entry to the Presidential Secretariat in July and causing damage to its property, threatening and intimidating the police and preventing them from carrying out their duties.
