The first postal vote result of presidential polls 2024, that of Ratnapura district, has been released.
NPP candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake received the highest number of postal votes of 19,185.
Independent candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe is second with 6,641 postal votes.
Samagi Jana Sandanaya candidate Sajith Premadasa is third with 4,675 postal votes.
SLPP’s Namal Rajapaksa polled 500 postal votes, while Dilith Jayaweera of Sarvajana Balaya received 251 postal votes.
