Former Minister Dhammika Perera will decide whether to resign or not from the SLPP National List seat today (25).
According to internal sources, a special discussion about this will be held today at the SLPP headquarters. A group of members, including former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, will attend the discussion.
Internal sources said while the names of three people have been proposed to replace Perera as MP, if he resigns, the final decision has not yet been taken.
It is also reported that the final decision on this will be taken today. Otherwise Perera will continue to be a member from the National List.
