All arrangements are set for the third instalment of the Karma Fight League (KFL) to be held on July 27.

Born from the idea of a young creative group, KFL aims to add an experience that has never been seen before in Sri Lanka’s martial arts scene.

Accordingly, KFL has worked to produce professional fighters and to give them the financial value that they have not received till now and have consistently pursued KFL's goal of taking Sri Lankan martial artists to the international stage by providing them with an experience of international standards.

KFL has brought together fighters from different traditions across Sri Lanka, to give audiences a rare and exhilarating viewing experience. Two incredible KFL fight nights with all these factors, have already been brought to the Sri Lankan audience.

The prize pool for fighters of KFL Season 1 exceeded Rs. 400,000 while KFL Season 2 went even further, with a prize pool exceeding Rs. 1 million. This time, the prize pool is more than Rs. 1.2 million.

Undefeated Nimesha Kumari

Although Sri Lankan players in other sports get ample opportunity to become brand ambassadors, it is a very rare experience for Sri Lankan martial artists. Defying these odds, today marks the start of KFL's Nimesha Kumari’s journey towards becoming a professional fighter under the full sponsorship of the Asian Security Group.

Under this sponsorship, Nimesha Kumari will receive a professional stipend, along with stipends for nutrition, training, trainer’s fee, and medical coverage.

It is a huge sponsorship that covers all aspects of her journey as a professional fighter. Most importantly, this marks the first time that a combat sportswoman, from a discipline other than Boxing, has been given brand ambassadorship.
