In a thrilling display of cricket prowess, Sri Lanka’s rising star Kamindu Mendis has etched his name in the annals of cricket history, equalling the legendary Javed Miandad’s record for the most test runs after four innings.

With an impressive tally of 419 runs after four innings, Kamindu’s feat mirrors Miandad’s milestone achieved back in 1976.

Kamindu’s meteoric rise to prominence has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Just last week, the talented batsman narrowly missed out on setting a new world record for the most runs after three test innings, falling short of R E Foster’s mark from over a century ago.

Despite this setback, Kamindu’s determination and skill shone through as he continued to make his mark on the international cricket scene.

Kamindu Mendis also narrowly missed equaling Mohammad Azharuddin’s record for the most number of centuries after four test innings as he ran out of partners.
