The international cricket ban on Sri Lanka will be fully lifted in the coming week, said sports ministry sources.
New sports minister Harin Fernando has directly spoken to the ICC in that regard, and obtained a positive response.
The sources said he has also been invited to the upcoming executive council meeting of the ICC.
Fernando is already in touch with Sri Lanka Cricket.
