Presidential candidate of Sarvajana Balaya Dilith Jayaweera will hold his inaugural campaign rally in Jaffna tomorrow (17), said the alliance’s election operations chief Udaya Gammanpila.
This is the first time a national level alliance starts its campaign from the north, he said.
Jayaweera will be the only candidate, who would be presenting a strategic programme instead of a conventional policy manifesto, said Gammanpila.
