NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake claims to have two files containing details of acts of corruption and fraud committed by incumbent president Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Complaints against Wickremesinghe were received by the anticorruption secretariat established during the good governance regime, said Dissanayake.

He told the Sri Lankan community in Tsukuba, Japan that the matter would be taken to court and every property possible would be forfeited under a government led by him.

Wickremesinghe closed down the secretariat after it started receiving complaints against UNP politicians, the NPP leader charged.

He promised to investigate and punish those behind the high-profile killings including Lasantha Wickrematunga, Wasim Thajudeen and Prageeth Ekneligoda, as well as the Easter Sunday attacks.

Politicians, who are the hands behind the underworld, too would be dealt with as per the law, he added.
