The launch of the alliance to be led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will take place in the first week of August, said general secretary of the party Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
Madduma Bandara that they would contest all elections under this alliance.
Noting that talks are in final stages with other parties on its formation, he said that more than 10 MPs elected from the SLPP will join the alliance.
