URF leader Patali Champika Ranawaka says they will introduce the alternative candidate who emerges as winner at the presidential polls.
Addressing a party event in Maharagama, he said the URF is prepared to ally with any grouping or individual who recognizes their ideals.
Ranawaka urged the people not to be misled by temporary waves of support for certain parties.
Secretary of the party Bandula Chandrasekara said they are now rallying forces across the country to work for the future.
