The GMOA says it will not support the ongoing strike action in the state sector.
Speaking to the media, its secretary Dr. Prabath Sugathadasa said however, they conceded that all state sector employees face numerous issues.
The GMOA is not against granting them relief, he said.
Around 200 TUs are on a two-day sicknote campaign to demand that all state sector workers be given the Rs. 25,000 allowance now paid to executive grade officers.
