Actress Manoja Fernando has ridiculed aging by her remarks at a NPP youth meeting in Hambantota on 09 June, said political analyst Vipula Karunatilake.
He told Ideas Front YouTube channel that her criticisms of the country’s president being as old as her grandfather leaves the question if that is the NPP’s stand with regard to human dignity.
Nowhere in the world such insulting utterances are made, said Karunatilake.
He urged the NPP to correct her statement.
