Leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Sajith Premadasa is yet to respond to the ITN’s offer to host a debate with the leader of the National People's Power (NPP) Anura Kumara Dissanayake, said ITN chairman Sudarshana Gunawardena.
On behalf of Dissanayake, NPP executive member Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has written to Gunawardena, expressing readiness to take part in the debate.
While thanking ITN for its offer, Jayatissa asked that the NPP be informed of Premadasa’s confirmation of attendance on the designated date and time.
