India has expressed agreement to invest in information technology, livestock and natural gas sectors in the northwestern province, said the north western governor’s office.
Deputy Sri Lankan high commissioner in Chennai, Dr. D. Vengadeswaran, brought a team of investors to meet governor Nazeer Ahamed on 30 May.
A follow-up team of nearly 70 Indian investors will arrive on 19 June to look further into investment opportunities in the province.
