The general secretary of the United National Party (UNP) Palitha Range Bandara says he will reveal on 03 June all ‘secrets’ behind his suggestion to submit a proposal to the House to hold a referendum to put off both presidential and general elections by two years.
He has told deshaya.lk that until then, he would refrain from making any comments.
His suggestion caused a big uproar, with even government politicians saying it was his personal opinion only.
The president too, has said the presidential polls would take place as scheduled.
