President Ranil Wickremesinghe may have stabilized the country to an extent, but that is far from satisfactory, said SJB MP Ajith Mannapperuma.
The president is without a capable team, and what’s more the government acts to its advantage and not to better people’s lives, the MP was quoted by lankadeepa.lk as having told the media.
The SJB has the best team with the ability to revive the country, he also claimed.
He urged the government to pass on the benefit of increased hydropower generation to consumers by reducing electricity tariffs.
Both free education and health services are in dire straits, but private universities and hospitals continue to thrive, he added.
