A Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) government will have no place for fraud, bribery or corruption by its president, prime minister and all others, said opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
Rather than a life of luxury, they will be deprived and will have to undergo difficulties, he said.
Premadasa was speaking after handing over a smart classroom to Medagamgoda Maha Vidyalaya in Walasmulla.
A SJB government will carry out all its dealings with full transparency, he said further.
The opposition leader said that certain persons were now changing their parties in order to obtain bar permits.
They engage in cheap politics to ruin the country in disregard to their soul and self-respect, he said.
He called for commitment by all to a major battle for development, promising the people a life of dignity without having to go after politicians.
