Parliament is investigating the head of a division who has sought sexual favours from female staffers on a number of occasions.
Secretary general Kushani Rohanadheera has ordered the probe against the official who had demanded so during promotions and new recruitments.
Some of the victims have complained against him in writing.
Previously too, several housekeeping division officials were disciplinarily dealt with on charges of sexually harassment.
