Government doctors say the government should have a strong backbone to find a swift solution to the ongoing strike by health trade unions.
Failure on the part of the government and the health ministry will result in further inconvenience to the patients, said GMOA spokesman Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe.
While stressing that health workers should be ensured economic justice, he insisted that they should make a claim for their due only.
It appears certain TU leaders are bent on personal gains over actual issues of the membership, he added.
