A date for the proposed debate between the leaders of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and the National People's Power will be intimated at the weekend, say SJB sources.
For its part, the NPP has already proposed four days in a letter to SJB general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
The dates it has given are 07, 09, 13 or 14 of May.
It is likely the SJB will choose one of them and Madduma Bandara will inform the NPP about its decision in the coming two days.
