The government parliamentary group met last night (25) at the Presidential Secretariat.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe chaired the meeting, also attended by premier Dinesh Gunawardena and ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The focus of their discussion was on government plans for the future and development work in all electorates.
After the meeting, state minister D.B. Herath told the media that they also decided that all affiliate parties in the government should work together at the upcoming presidential polls.
