Replacing SLFP leader Maithripala Sirisena with a ‘sleepy one’ is part of a conspiracy to make the party a toy of Ranil Wickremesinghe, charged its former general secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara.
He charged the conspirators of having removed him of his position via the chairman.
When leaving the position, he said, he warned Sirisena that he would be their next victim.
That has become true today, said Jayasekara.
