President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directly allotted development funds for Samagi Jana Balawegaya MPs Kavinda Jayawardena and Ajith Mannapperuma.
The two reached the president even as the SLPP MPs allege the treasury is reluctant to grant them money for development projects.
Jayawardena and Mannapperuma have received Rs. 50 million and Rs. 60 million respectively.
Furthermore, SJB lawmaker Harsha de Silva has similarly received more than Rs. 50 million.
Wickremesinghe is presently trying to lure SJB MPs back to the UNP.
He event attended a dinner party organized by MP Jayawardena at his home.
