The Sri Lanka Transport Board has paid 28 of its officers released for trade union activities more than Rs. 10 million in 2022 as bonuses and incentives.
The SLTB pays salaries and allowances of these officers and the state’s contributions to the EPF, which should be paid by the respective trade union, an audit has revealed.
